The Neurodivergent Guide to Low-Impact Lifestyle Changes

(This is the intro to a series)

Hi! I’m Samantha. I’m neurodivergent, and I find the amount of information about sustainability overwhelming.

If you’re like me and want to make eco-friendly/sustainable changes but don’t know where to start, this series might be for you!

I will document my progress and how I am going about it. To do this successfully, I’ve decided to use categories to remain organized and on track. I categorize by room and by focus. Things that are not room-specific will have their own category, such as beauty, stationary, etc.

Zero Waste Store’s sustainability icons inspired me to make my own. I find them very helpful and fun. These simple and direct visuals provide me with instant gratification when searching for information. I hope they do the same for you.

Here are some of my goals in doing this:

  • I want to limit my waste.

  • I want to use less single-use, plastic-packaged, and unsustainable products.

  • I want to stop supporting unsustainable companies.

The first post in this series will be “Low-Impact Shaving.”

Stay tuned!

Disclaimer: I do this research to make informed product decisions for myself. The fun part is putting it together nicely and sharing it with you. I do this because I want to help others like me. Expect nothing but honesty and transparency. Unless specified otherwise, I have purchased all the products I post about, and all opinions are 100% my own—Always.
